Preview โ The Goal
๐ณ๏ธ The Goal: You're 90 minutes into a terrible movie โ so you watch the last 30, paying MORE of your evening to a film you already know is bad. You've 'put three years into' a relationship that's been over for one. The business idea got two more years of savings because the first two 'couldn't be for nothing.' This is the sunk cost fallacy โ the most expensive thinking error ordinary people make โ and here's the liberating, brutal logic: money, time, and effort already spent are GONE. They stay exactly as gone whether you quit or continue. The only real question is 'knowing what I know now, is the NEXT hour/dollar/year worth it?' Everything already spent is rearview mirror โ and you can't drive forward staring into it.
